Myron "Mike" Headley was born Oct. 21, 1932, in Walla Walla, Wash., and died April 13, 2018, in The Dalles Ore. He was the only child of Marion and Alice (Crider) Headley.
Growing up in Portland Ore., he attended Hosford Grade School, Washington High School and was a graduate of Oregon State University School of Pharmacy. As a youth he enjoyed spending summers with his aunt, uncle and cousins, in Bickleton Wash., helping out on their wheat ranch. He was actively involved in Boy Scouts, earning the rank of Eagle Scout.
He married Joyce Annette Crabtree in August 1955 and together they had three children, Diane, Karen and David. His accomplishments were many, including service in the U.S. Air Force as a Captain, practicing pharmacy for over 40 years, Scout Master of Troop 89 (Portland), Lt. Governor of Kiwanis for the NW District and serving on many professional and civic committees.
Mike is survived by his children: Diane (Brad) Smith of Lake Stevens Wash.; Karen (Peter) Peruzzo of The Dalles; David (Deb) of Alpine Calif., as well as seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Joyce predeceased him 2003.
