Bobbie Jo Christine (Meyer) Brotherton passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Jan. 14, 2018, after a twelve-month battle with brain cancer.
She was born May 18, 1971, and raised in The Dalles, Ore. She was the first of three siblings.
After school, she went on to pursue a degree in nursing and became a registered nurse in 1999.
Bobbi met and married her husband, Trevor Brotherton, on Sept. 16, 2000, and they made their home in Sandy, Ore.
Bobbi worked for Kaiser Permanente for 14 years and was working on a degree to become a nurse practitioner, with a 4.0 GPA. She got her bachelor’s degree the same month she learned of her brain tumor.
Bobbie was always a very kind and forgiving person. You could tell she loved life, people and because of her special personality, people couldn’t help but love her back. She enjoyed camping with the family on the Oregon and Washington coast and at Timothy Lake.
Bobbie is survived by her husband, Trevor, and three sons, Lacky, Taylor and Logan; her father and mother Gary and Sherry Meyer; two siblings, Adam and Treva Meyer; plus, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was too young to leave us at just 46 years old.
God must have had a special plan for her. We will all miss her very much.
