Marilyn was loved and adored by all who knew her. My sister and I have tremendous gratitude for the unique and wonderful life my mom gave us. As a single parent who struggled, she somehow always made sure we had the things we needed. My mothers motivating force was LOVE and it was her love that had a profound impact on everyone who knew her.
Not only was my mom the most beautiful woman I ever met she also had some pretty interesting things she enjoyed doing such as reading any book she could about serial killers or watching the I.D channel throughout most of the day. Marilyn loved when she was employed as a beautician because cutting hair gave her much joy as did her gardening. Our mom was a beacon of light that pulled everyone to her. She was like a magnet for anyone who was fun, quirky or just needed a friend. My mom found something to love about everyone.
My sister and I would like to thank you for the overwhelming condolences we have received and we appreciate every single one of them. Marilyn was wild and free and a perfect put together mess. Gorgeously chaotic. She was our Queen!
Marilyn is survived by her eldest daughter Laura and her husband Chuck Rapelje and by her youngest daughter Sheri and her husband David DesRochers. The biggest loves of her life were her grandchildren Trystyne, Ryli, Sydni, Katie, Dylan and her great grandchild Landyn. She also has a brother Rod Pizzola and his wife Barbara and their children Chad and Amber Pizzola. Last but not least her two dogs Tobee and Emma and her two cats Kiki and Garfield and her best friend and neighbor Mike.
