DAVE KARLSON of Google holds up the severed wires and scissors Feb. 23 that represent the new wireless Internet expansion to the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center and Museum. High school and middle school students hold up their computer tablets in the ceremonial linking in of the iPads that was part of the celebration. Students include Alleta Maier, Addie Haney, Keil Saling, Austin Oldfield and Jasper Edmisten (order unknown).
