MEMBERS OF The Dalles Wahtonka’s dance/drill team gather around for a group photograph after taking third place honors at the OSAA Dance/Drill State Tournament Thursday at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Portland. In the front row are (pictured from left to right), seniors Drew Hamm, Aubrey Hansen, Emily Chance and Amanda Cimmiyotti. This is the first time TDW has won a state trophy in the three years since moving from strictly cheerleading competitions, where they won 12 titles, to dance and drill. Hansen ended the week with a nod on the all-state team.

Whether it was senior Aubrey Hansen or the new kid on the block in freshman Taylor Sugg, members of The Dalles Wahtonka’s dance and drill team expressed elation at taking third place honors at this past week’s OSAA Dance/Drill State Tournament in Portland.
