DETECTION SKILLS will be finely honed this weekend as children put them to the test to find Easter treats at two annual Easter egg hunts this Saturday, March 30. The largest is the 12th annual Griffith Motors Easter Egg Scramble at Sorosis Park. The fun starts at 11 a.m. just east of the pavilion. It’s free to children ages 10 and younger, with hunting areas divided by age. Toddlers 1 to 2 years will have their own area and may be accompanied by an adult. Participants should bring their own Easter baskets or bags. The Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy will both be on hand. Flagstone Senior Living offers an egg hunt and barbecue starting at 11:15 a.m. The community is invited to bring kids, grandkids and great-grandkids for Easter fun. The free barbecue starts at noon. The event also includes games, a carrot-carving contest and prizes. The egg hunt is for ages birth to 12. Participants shoudl bring their own basket. File photo
