VIC ENDICOTT of the Baker Elks Drum and Bugle Corps struts his stuff at the Oregon Veterans Home April 26 during a performance by 20 members of Lodge 338. The marching band from Eastern Oregon has been in existence for 60 years and stopped in The Dalles on the way to the state Elks convention in Seaside April 26. Residents of the home were treated to a selection of patriotic songs and classics from the 40s, 50s and 60s, such as Rock Around the Clock from 1952. Endicott, now 66, has played with the group since the age of 14 and was cheered on by members of Elks Lodge 1507 in Hood River and Elks Lodge 303 in The Dalles.
