USMC CAPT. (Retired) Daniel Brophy posts flags for each branch of the service four days a year — Memorial Day, July Fourth, Flag Day, Armed Forces Day and Veterans Day — as a reminder about the sacrifices that have been made and are currently being made to protect the American way of life. He pays his respects as often as possible to the warriors who have fallen in battle and said visiting the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington D.C., and Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia provides him with closure over the loss of personal friends and others he served with during two tours of duty in Vietnam. Brophy will give the benediction on behalf of Point Man International Ministries at Monday’s Memorial Day services.
