Fort Dalles Family Fun
A blacksmithing demonstration will be part of the fun at the Fort Dalles Museum (1856) & Anderson Homestead for Family Fun Day, Saturday, July 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 500 W. 15th St. Admission is free all day.
Tour the museum grounds and see live demonstrations of old-time pioneer skills, also including rope making, and wool spinning. Take a free horse-drawn wagon ride provided by Eastwind Percherons to the historic Rorick House from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. See the 4-H animals in the Anderson Barn. The Eagle Quest Drummers will perform. Food will include Indian Fry Bread, hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, shaved ice, cotton candy, and beverages. Children’s games will keep the kids entertained. Online:
