DANI FULLER, 8, and her step-father, Jesse Trosper, of White Salmon proudly show off the first-place trophy she earned in her division by a .016 differential at the 63rd All-American Soapbox Race on June 22 in Salem. Fuller became hooked on the sport after participating in the Gravity Games in The Dalles last year. “I like going fast down the hill,” she said, as her reason for pursuing that interest. The family is now trying to raise $5,000 to send her to nationals in July and an account has been set up at Columbia State Bank in White Salmon. For details, call Trosper at 509-637-3234 or email Jesse.Trosper@yahoo.com.
