MAUPIN RANCHER Keith Nantz uses a tube and bottle to feed a newborn calf rejected by its mother. He milked another new mother to get Colostrum, which is high in nutrients and antibodies, for the new baby. The calf will be bottle fed for several months but will end up weighing less than its peers due to the lack of maternal nurturing.
