The Dalles junior Henry Lee is mobbed by his teammates after slugging a walk-off two-run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning in the riverhawks’ 17-7 mercy-ruled triumph over Pendleton. Jose Gonzalez had three hits and finished a home run shy of the cycle and picked up the decision on the mound. In all, TD pounded out 16 hits.

Lee’s walk-off homer leads TD to victory

Pendleton entered Tuesday’s Columbia River Conference baseball tussle needing a win to take a four-game series against The Dalles. Big Country Henry Lee had the final say. Lee capped a six-run bottom of the sixth inning with a walk-off, two-run home run to left centerfield to give the Riverhawks a 17-7 victory over the Buckaroos in a league contest played at Bob Williams Field.
