Breaking News: Substation fire top priority in U.S.

Photo detail

Last week’s History Mystery photograph, above, is from the collection of The Dalles Photographer Wilma Roberts and was submitted by her son Casey Roberts.
The photograph shows covered wagons rolling west past The Dalles Dam heading into The Dalles. The wagons were part of a 1959 re-enactment of the Oregon Trail in celebration of Oregon’s Centennial.
Terray Harmon said he remembers that they camped in City Park at The Dalles (Fifth and Union) for a couple of days.
