The Dalles wrestlers tallied a season-high 23 victories, 13 by pin, for 78.5 points and 12th place out of 16 teams at the two-day Don York Invitational ending Saturday in Portland. Andrew Richman notched five wins to take a season-best fourth place, and the tandem of Glenn Breckterfield and Michael Parrish combined for 10 wins, eight by pin, for fifth place on the individual side. TD has its home-opening dual at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17 against Hermiston.
Hitting double digits over the past two tournaments, The Dalles wrestling squad reeled off 23 victories, 18 by pinfall, and the trio of Andrew Richman, Glenn Breckterfield and Michael Parrish picked up top-5 outcomes at the two-day Don York Invitational Tournament ending Saturday at Cleveland High School in Portland.
