    Tank cars, carrying oil, are derailed near Mosier. The accident happened just after noon about 100 yards beyond the Mosier overpass. It involved numerous cars filled with oil, and one was burning. Highway 84 was closed for a 23-mile stretch between The Dalles and Mosier, and the radius for evacuations was a half-mile.     Train derailment on I-84 near Mosier. Tanker on fire. Smoke and flames visible near the Rock Creek overpass. There will be an update when more information becomes available. Exit into Mosier is closed as well as both sides of Interstate 84 Mosier School is under evacuation, with students relocating to the Wahtonka campus in The Dalles.

Anyone who wishes to pick up their kids may do so, but be advised that Interstate 84 is in the process of being closed down in that location.
