Complete with children’s authors and specialty craft makers, you’ll be able to find holiday gifts for everyone on your list. There will be plenty of interesting stocking stuffers to check out, freshly stocked shelves of children’s toys to peruse and a wide selection of great titles to explore.
The family of Jaime “Jungle” Jim, 53, of Wishram, is seeking word of his whereabouts. Jim was last seen the evening of Oct. 30, said his sister, Emily Charpentier. He is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds.

Larry Keller can’t complain about the growth his company, Keller’s Brew Supply, has seen since it started two years ago. It has grown enough to allow the business to move from a small space tucked away in the commercial building at 1800 W. 10th St. to the large main showroom.

Decorations and celebrations aren’t the only plans The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce has for the holiday season. The local business organization is kicking off its Shop Local and Win campaign on Starlight Parade Friday, Nov. 29, to encourage people to shop in The Dalles for the holidays rather than making their purchases out of town.
