it is against the law for a business to refuse service based on discrimination. and if you are referring to the baker in portland, the woman he refused service to was a repeat customer. guess her money was good enough the first time around.
speaking of hypocrisy, i'm wondering how someone with out of state plates gets to live in the commodore. aren't we supposed to register our vehicles in our state of residence?
here's the thing, bob. not everyone believes in your god. or any god at all, for that matter. you rant about having to "bow down" to the "homosexual agenda", yet seem to have no problem pushing your beliefs on everyone else.
this is very alarming. only 60% of students graduate on time around here? what is going on? who in their right mind lets their kid drop out of high school? high school is easy - especially the one here in the dalles. my daughter transferred in her junior year and the school work she was assigned was equivalent to what she got in the sixth and seventh grades back east. just disgraceful.
i will agree with you on how parents raise their kids anymore, and i'm not even that old!just look at the drop-out rate in this county - disgraceful
well, using the wrong word also diminishes the content of your post, along with the insults. i would think that you would want to come across as a somewhat educated individual, while making your argument.
hey purl, first of all, it's LOSE (Ioose means "not tight") and secondly, you get your point across much better without the insults.
oh, and if guns make us all so much safer, why isn't this the safest country in the world????
i have read many newspapers from all over the country, and this is the only one that regularly prints religious rants. it's preaching to the rest of us - has nothing to do with local or current events, and it gets rather old. people around here need to understand that not everyone is christian.
yes, it is a scary place to live. depressing, too. meth heads all over the place, teen mothers with their accessory babies on welfare, no decent bars or restaurants anywhere. i can't wait to get back to where people take the time to get dressed and look presentable before leaving the house.
cindy, the answer here is really very simple. if you don't like abortion, then don't have one. in the meantime, don't preach to me about what i might do with my body, and i won't tell you what to do with yours.
and j, your comment is Right On. it's refreshing to see a like mind around here.
