Motorsports in the blood

To many, motorsports aren't just a passing fancy, their a way of life. Driving fast legally can be as addictive as any drug and the effects can last for hours or days, bringing a smile to the most passive of faces. The focus of this blog is to bring news of local, national, even world wide events whether they are of straight line acceleration, rock/hill climbing or pushing machines to the limit down twisting dirt roads past screaming fans. Rally Racing, my personal favorite, comes in a few different flavors. World Rally Championship, which is held at venues around the globe, Rally America, which does several races a year in our own country, Global Rally Cross, an event based on multiple competitors racing side by side in a stadium and Rally X, average joe's racing their personal cars around cones set up in dirt fields. This year, Rally America is holding seven events (well, six now since Sno* Drift rally in Atlanta, MI went down on January 25th-26th) and is planning another race in Oregon this year. starting at Portland International Raceway on Friday, May 3rd and hopefully moving to Hood River and Dufur on the 4th and 5th. Here is their planned schedule

: Sno*Drift Rally Atlanta, MI January 25 - 26

Rally in the 100 Acre Wood Salem, MO February 22 – 23

Oregon Trail Rally Portland & The Dalles, OR May 3 - 5
