Jose Luis Martinez-Robledo, 48, a teacher's aide at The Dalles Middle School, was arrested at his home Oct. 12 and is charged with two counts of Sexual Harassment, according to a joint statement by Northern Wasco County School District (NWCSD) Superintendent Candy Armstrong and Sergeant Douglas Kramer of The Dalles Police.
Martinez-Robledo, 48, was placed on paid administrative leave following an Oct. 10 report by a student that she had been touched inappropriately and inappropriate comments made to her.

An investigation began Oct. 11, and several interviews were completed at the school. Martinez-Robledo was then contacted regarding an interview and chose not to meet with detectives without counsel, according to the statement.
Martinez-Robledo was arrested at his home on two counts of Sexual Harassment and lodged at NORCOR around 10 a.m. Oct. 12. More charges may follow at the discretion of the Wasco County District Attorney’s Office.
