Classic Car Show winners named

A visitor explores the KODL KOOL 99.1 Classic Car Show along Federal Street during the Northwest Cherry Festival on Saturday.

The KODL Classic Car Show served up 105 classic cars for the Northwest Cherry Festival show.

The longest distance traveled to the show was an entry from Nanoose, British Columbia, having travelled over 411 miles to get to the Saturday show on Federal Street downtown The Dalles.

Categories 13 through 28 were judged by participants and spectators given voter's ballots.

Votes were tallied during the show and an awards ceremony took place at 2:30 p.m.

Best 60’s Stock: 1964 Ford Fairlane S-Coupe — Jimmie and Lyn Griffith, Dallesport

Best 60’s Modified: 1968 Chevy Stepside Pickup — John Burkheimer of Port Angeles, Wash.
