Thank you, Bustos

Jason Bustos, pictured right, owner of the McDonald’s franchises in The Dalles, was thanked recently by the Oregon National Guard unit in The Dalles for donating breakfast and dinner to 70 local guardsmen in March at the Fort Dalles Readiness Center. Pictured with Bustos is Capt. Chris Perrotti, unit commander of Delta Troop 1-82CAV. Perrotti said, “The Army does a great job of feeding us three meals a day with a variety of meals ready to eat (MREs) or from our field kitchens, however after awhile in the field soldiers do like a variety. Jason Bustos, owner of McDonald’s in The Dalles, provide a boast to morale when he came in with McDonald’s breakfast burritos and hash browns. It was a nice change of pace from the MREs. Jason’s selfless act of kindness is a testament to extreme local support that the local Guard unit has received from the community on a constant basis over the years.”
