Dry Hollow Honors

Dry Hollow Elementary students, teachers and staff honored military veterans on Thursday with poems and even the Armed Forces Medley sung by all grades. Each veteran, who had a child or grandchild attending the school, was introduced at the outset of the assembly. Above, Lynn Miller, explained how the US Navy trained him to be an electrician. He went on to work with the Bonneville Power Administration after serving on a destroyer. His great grandson, third-grader Jude Coleman, watched from the audience.
