The Dalles City

Nov. 29, 11:20 a.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, East 10th and Roberts streets. Vehicle ran a stop sign and struck a public works truck. A report was taken.

Nov. 30, 8:36 a.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 100 block of West 4th Street. Officer assisted with the exchange of information.

Nov. 30, 9:50 a.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 200 block of East 10th Street. Officer assisted with the exchange of information.

Nov. 30, 4:48 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, West 6th and Trevitt streets. A report was taken.

Oregon State Police

Dec. 2, 8:01 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 82. Driver drifted into the concrete center barrier and lost control of the vehicle. The crash was logged.

The Dalles City

A theft report was taken Nov. 29 from the 2100 block of West 6th Street after a victim reported her ring was missing.

An agency assist report was taken Nov. 29 from The Dalles after Spokane Tribal police advised they recovered a vehicle that was reported stolen from The Dalles. The victim was notified.

A restraining order violation report was taken Nov. 29 from the 400 block of West 15th Street.

A theft report was taken Nov. 29 from the 500 block of West 9th Street after a victim reported his coat was stolen.

A theft report was taken Nov. 29 from the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street after staff reported a male suspect came into the store and fled with unpaid merchandise.

Sydney West Kraft, 32, The Dalles, was arrested Nov. 30 near East 3rd and Washington streets on a warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

Shane Alan Dahlberg, 29, Moro, was arrested Nov. 30 in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street on a warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

Police responded to the 1800 block of West 6th Street Nov. 30 on a report of a dog at large. The dog was located and taken to the local shelter. A report was taken.

A theft report was taken Nov. 30 from The Dalles after a victim came to the police station to report she bought some items on facebook and did not receive all the items purchased.

Police responded to the 3000 block of Old Dufur Road Nov. 30 after a caller reported her grandson was attempting to break into their RV. An informational report was taken.

Christopher Lee Carsten, 31, The Dalles, was arrested Dec. 1 in the 2100 block of West 15th Street and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct. Jaime De La Cruz, 35, The Dalles, was also arrested and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct.

A hit and run report was taken Dec. 1 from the 1000 block of West 6th Street.

A second-degree theft report was taken Dec. 1 from the 1800 block of West 13th Street after a victim reported her bicycle was stolen.

Police responded to the 300 block of East 11th Street Dec. 2 after a caller reported hearing a loud gun shot in the area. A homemade firework was located and a report was taken.

A criminal mischief report was taken Dec. 2 from the 2100 block of East 10th Street after a victim reported some windows to her home were shot out with a bb gun.

A stolen vehicle report was taken Dec. 2 from the 2400 block of East 11th Street.

Wasco County

A criminal mischief report was taken Nov. 29 from Tygh Valley after a victim reported his motorcycle was damaged as someone put nails in his tires.

An agency assist report was taken Dec. 1 from the 1200 block of West 15th Street after assisting city police with a disturbance.

Deputy responded to Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 94 Dec. 1 after a victim reported he had pulled off the road to sleep when he was woken up to someone pounding on his door. Suspect had thrown a rock at his windshield breaking it before fleeing the area. A report was taken.

A theft report was taken Dec. 2 from Mosier after a victim reported some items were stolen from a pickup on his property.

Deputy responded to Maupin Dec. 2 after a caller reported an elderly male subject had driven onto his lawn and was refusing to leave. Subject left prior to deputy arrival and an informational report was taken.

Daryl Dean Coleman, 36, no listed address, was arrested Dec. 2 in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street and is accused of contempt of court and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Jordan Andrew Boyd, 27, The Dalles, was arrested Dec. 2 in the 200 block of East 2nd Street on warrants for unlawful possession of methamphetamine and two counts of first-degree failure to appear.

Oregon State Police

An abandoned vehicle report was taken Nov. 29 from Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 89. The vehicle was impounded.

Trooper responded to Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 126 Nov. 29 on a report of a vehicle fire. A semi-trailer carrying produce caught fire and was fully engulfed upon arrival. Troopers assisted with traffic control while the fire department knocked down the fire. A report was taken.

A male driver was cited and released for driving while suspended during a traffic stop Dec. 1 on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 80. The vehicle was impounded.

Sherman County

Tamer Lyn Caba, 56, Wasco, was arrested Dec. 1 in Wasco and is accused of tampering with a witness and failure to perform the duties of a driver. Curtis Hollibuagh, 59, Wasco, was also arrested and is accused of hindering prosecution.

Gilliam County

Russell John McArthur, 50, Spokane, Wash., was arrested Nov. 30 during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 139 and is accused of unlawful possession of oxycodone.

Ronald Grant Wade, 56, Fossil, was arrested Dec. 2 and is accused of four counts of menacing and five counts of unlawful use of a weapon.

Lars Ray Linne, 41, Rufus, was jailed Nov. 29 on a Gilliam County court commitment for unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Sonya Nanetta Lay, 44, The Dalles, was jailed Nov. 29 on a court commitment for probation violation.

Donald Duane Tanner, 62, Hood River, was booked and released Nov. 29 on a court commitment for driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving.

William Joseph Belser, 51, The Dalles, was jailed Nov. 30 on a court commitment for criminal trespass while in possession of a firearm.

Milo Wade Hewitt, 32, Leesburg, Florida, was jailed Nov. 30 on a Sherman County court commitment for driving under the influence of intoxicants and two counts of recklessly endangering another person.

John Theodore Karpstein, 43, Grass Valley, was arrested Nov. 29 in the community corrections office on an out of state warrant.
