The Dalles City

Jan. 7, 8:47 a.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, West 9th and Walnut streets. One driver was cited for driving uninsured. A report was taken.

Jan. 8, 3:33 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, 200 block of East 10th Street. Truck caring a trailer lost control of the vehicle and struck a wall. A report was taken.

Wasco County

Jan. 8, 9:00 a.m. – Single vehicle, injury crash, Dry Hollow and Olney roads. A report was taken.

Oregon State Police

Jan. 7, 1:55 p.m. – Single vehicle, unknown injury crash, Highway 197 northbound, milepost 54. Troopers responded to the area on a report of a crash. Vehicle was found unoccupied and had damaged some property in the area. A hit and run report was taken.

Jan. 8, 11:42 a.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Highway 97 southbound, milepost 25. Driver lost control of his vehicle due to icy conditions and jackknifed. The crash was logged.

Jan. 8, 1:35 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Highway 97 northbound, milepost 39. Driver struck a large rock that was in the middle of the roadway which caused significant damage to the undercarriage of the vehicle. The crash was logged.

Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue

Jan. 7, 9:10 p.m. – Crew responded to the 2800 block of Mill Creek Road on a report of a chimney fire.

Jan. 9, 7:00 p.m. – Crew responded to the 200 block of West 11th Street on a report of an unauthorized burning.

The agency also responded to five calls for emergency medical services on Jan. 7, four on Jan. 8, and five on Jan. 9.

The Dalles City

An assault report was taken Jan. 7 from the 1200 block of West 10th Street after staff reported a resident with dementia had attacked his wife. The incident is under investigation.

A burglary report was taken Jan. 7 from the 100 block of West 10th Street.

A theft report was taken Jan. 7 from the 600 block of West 17th Street after a victim reported two bicycles were stolen from his property.

Jerrett Lee Bray, 35, The Dalles, was arrested Jan. 7 in the 1400 block of East 9th Street on a warrant for first-degree failure to appear.

Police responded to the 2600 block of West 6th Street Jan. 7 after a caller reported a female subject was wandering in the parking lot and yelling at people. Contact was made with the subject who was mad at the store employees. She was warned of her conduct.

A criminal mischief report was taken Jan. 8 from the circuit courthouse after staff reported a bathroom was tagged with a grease pencil.

A death report was taken Jan. 8 from the 1200 block of West 10th Street.

An identity theft report was taken Jan. 8 at the police station.

Aaron Alexander Kemp, 44, Husum, Wash., was arrested Jan. 8 in the 1200 block of West 8th Street and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Summer Ann Heebink, 38, The Dalles, was also arrested and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Animal control responded to West 6th and Hostelter streets on a report of a dog at large. The dog was located and taken to the local shelter. A report was taken.

Police responded to the 400 block of West 8th Street Jan. 8 after a caller reported she believes someone was living in her basement without her permission. A trespass report was taken.

Dean Allen Bromley, 27, The Dalles, was arrested Jan. 8 near West 3rd and Pentland streets on a warrant for two counts of second-degree failure to appear.

A theft report was taken Jan. 9 from the 700 block of Veterans Drive after staff reported a resident had some items stolen from his room.

Jessica Amberdawn Perales, 35, The Dalles, was arrested Jan. 9 in the 1700 block of West 10th Street and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, post-prison violations, and two counts of probation violation.

Police responded to East 10th and Federal streets Jan. 9 after a juvenile male reported he was assaulted by another juvenile. A report was taken and the incident is under investigation.

Alyssa Rianne Adams, 27, The Dalles, was arrested Jan. 9 in the 700 block of West 9th Street and is accused of third-degree theft. Tobi Wayne McGuirk, 44, The Dalles, was also arrested on a warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

Police made contact with two subjects in a vehicle Jan. 9 in the 2600 block of West 6th Street. Both the male and female subjects admitted to stealing wood scraps and pinewood chips behind one of the stores. They were cited and released for third-degree theft and third-degree criminal mischief. A report was taken.

Wasco County

Deputy responded to the regional jail Jan. 7 after staff reported an inmate reported he was assaulted by another inmate. The incident is under investigation.

An informational report was taken Jan. 9 from Maupin. No further information was made available.

Deputy responded to the juvenile detention facility Jan. 9 after staff reported two inmates had been involved in a physical altercation. A report was taken.

Oregon State Police

A male driver was cited and released for unlawful possession of marijuana during a traffic stop Jan. 8 on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 94. A report was taken.

Jimmy Nathaniel Vollert, 29, Stanfield, was arrested Jan. 8 during a traffic stop on Interstate 84, milepost 76 and is accused of providing false information to a police officer. He was also arrested on an out of state warrant.

Yadwinder Singh Kahlon, 29, Yuba City, Calif., was arrested Jan. 9 during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 85 and is accused of unlawful possession of heroin, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, and unlawful possession of oxycodone.

Sherman County

Lonnie Darrell Wendlandt, 62, Portland, was arrested Jan. 9 during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 101 and is accused of driving while suspended.

Gilliam County

Megan Rebecca Beam, 32, Baker City, was arrested Jan. 7 during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 near milepost 129 and is accused of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Richard Hunt Nosenzo, 27, The Dalles, was jailed Jan. 7 on a court commitment for third-degree sexual abuse.

Donald Duane Tanner, 62, Hood River, was jailed Jan. 7 on a court commitment for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Jaclyn Alexis Laporte, 36, Pendleton, was jailed Jan. 7 on a Sherman County court commitment for driving under the influence of intoxicants, recklessly endangering another person, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and reckless driving.

Christopher Daniel Williams, 37, Wishram, Wash., was transported and jailed Jan. 8 after being arrested on a local warrant for first-degree failure to appear.

Tammy Lynn Minter, 52, St. Helens, was jailed Jan. 9 on a Sherman County court commitment for first-degree theft.

Ramone Jamison Thomas, 41, no listed address, was transported and jailed Jan. 9 after being arrested on a local warrant for hunting on closed land and criminal trespass while in possession of a firearm.

Larry Scott Bixel, 38, Portland, was jailed Jan. 9 on a court commitment for post-prison violations.

Heather Carroll Coleman, 46, The Dalles, was arrested Jan. 7 in the community corrections office and is accused of post-prison violations.

Larry Raymond Dorr, 46, The Dalles, was arrested Jan. 7 in the community corrections office and is accused of three counts of probation violation.

Jill Michella Nevins, 40, The Dalles, was arrested Jan. 7 in the community corrections office and is accused of three counts of probation violation.

Robert Alan Davidson, 32, Lyle, Wash., was arrested Jan. 9 in the community corrections office and is accused of two counts of probation violation.
