The Dalles City

Oct. 1, 4:47 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 300 block of Lone Pine Boulevard. Officer assisted with the exchange of information.

Oct. 2, 5:35 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 1100 block of East 12th Street. Officer assisted with the exchange of information.

Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue

Oct. 2, 5:16 p.m. – Crew responded to Interstate 84, milepost 81 on a grass fire. No further information was made available regarding the incident.

The agency also responded to five calls for emergency medical services on Oct. 1, three on Oct. 2, and 17 on Oct. 3.

The Dalles City

A restraining order violation report was taken Oct. 1 from The Dalles area. No further information was made available.

Christopher Everett Matney, 37, The Dalles, was arrested Oct. 1 in the 900 block of West 6th Street and is accused of parole violation and failure to register as a sex offender.

Police responded to the 3500 block of West 2nd Street Oct. 2 on a report of an animal nuisance. A report was taken.

A telephonic harassment report was taken Oct. 2 from the 2600 block of Bennet Way after a victim reported he was receiving threatening texts from a male subject.

Police responded to West 10th and Snipes streets Oct. 3 on a report of a vehicle in a ditch. No one was around the vehicle and a report was taken.

A burglary report was taken Oct. 3 from the 2500 block of Wright Street after a victim reported someone attempted to break into her home overnight.

A burglary report was taken Oct. 3 from the 700 block of East 2nd Street after staff reported someone broke through a fence to get a shed on the property.

Police responded to the 1400 block of View Court Oct. 3 after a victim reported a medical marijuana plant was stolen from his property.

A burglary report was taken Oct. 3 from the 2200 block of East 10th Street after a victim reported a safe was stolen from her home.

A theft report was taken Oct. 3 from the 1200 block of Kelly Avenue after staff reported a shoplift occurred.

Police responded to the 2700 block of West 7th Street Oct. 3 after a caller reported his two teen sons were fighting. A report was taken.

Travis Michael Collins, 28, The Dalles, was arrested Oct. 4 in the 400 block of West 8th Street and is accused of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and post-prison violatioins.

A hit and run report was taken Oct. 4 from Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 84 after a caller reported observing a vehicle swerving on the road and crashing into the center median. Driver fled the area and was not found.

Wasco County

Deputy responded to the 3500 block of Olney Road on Oct. 1 on a report of a trash dump site. An illegal dump report was taken.

Kenneth Lee Wentz, 37, Dallesport, Wash., was arrested Oct. 2 near West 6th and Snipes streets on a warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

An agency assist report was taken Oct. 2 from Mosier after assisting Hood River police with deploying a spike strip on a vehicle they were pursuing.

Deputy responded to the 3600 block of West 13th Street Oct. 2 on a report of a trespass. Male suspect was located and trespassed from the property. He was also cited and released for unlawful possession of methamphetamine. A report was taken.

An agency assist report was taken Oct. 4 from West 9th and Garrison streets after assisting city police with a car prowler.

Michael C. Lash, 31, The Dalles, was arrested Oct. 4 and is accused of failure to present and carry an operator’s license.

Oregon State Police

Shere R. Bailey, 56, Moreno Valley, Calif., was arrested Oct. 2 during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 73 and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving.

Mackenzie Dawn Knipp, 23, Cave Junction, was booked and released Oct. 1 on a court commitment for identity theft and first-degree criminal mistreatment.

Phillip Andrew Kadell, 33, Rickreall, was jailed Oct. 1 on a court commitment for identity theft.

Patrick Ryan Audette, 32, Portland, was jailed Oct. 1 on a court commitment for attempted assault on a public safety officer, attempted fourth-degree assault, and two counts of harassment.

Jay Ryan Stanford, 38, The Dalles, was transported and jailed Oct. 2 for two counts of failure to register as a sex offender.

Thomas Matthew King, 35, The Dalles, was transported and jailed Oct. 3 after being arrested on a local warrant for probation violation.

Christopher Allen Hudson, 23, Moro, was transported and jailed Oct. 3 after being arrested on a local warrant for probation violation.

Buster Ray Isadore, 38, Warm Springs, was transported and jailed Oct. 3 after being arrested on a local warrant for probation violation.

Toan Van Tran, 42, Portland, was transported and jailed Oct. 3 after being arrested on a local warrant for strangulation, fourth-degree assault, and interference with making a report.

Stephen Robert Igo, 56, Prineville, was transported and jailed Oct. 3 after being arrested on a local warrant for first-degree failure to appear.

Nicholas Buford Berthold, 34, Portland, was transported and jailed Oct. 3 after being arrested on a local warrant for post-prison violations and two counts of probation violation.

Jesse Leland Worley, 31, Madras, was transported and jailed Oct. 3 after being arrested on a local warrant for probation violation.

George Douglas Crittenden, 59, Portland, was transported and jailed Oct. 3 was transported and jailed Oct. 3 after being arrested on a local warrant for probation violation.

Dustin James Diteman, 32, Bozeman, Montana, was transported and jailed Oct. 3 after being arrested on a local warrant for coercion, strangulation, menacing, fourth-degree assault, and interference with making a police report.

Shana Marie Henry, 39, The Dalles, was arrested Oct. 1 and is accused of four counts of post-prison violations.

Sean Michael McAllister, 38, The Dalles, was arrested Oct. 2 in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.
